About

I'm interested in sustainable living systems and movement practices. I'm a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu brown belt under Sang Mercado, and training still takes up much of my energy and focus. I dabble in shakuhachi, guitar, spearfishing, backpacking, gardening, and dance. I like reading, particularly American Modernism and Japanese surrealism. I'm always looking for good book recommendations! I'm terrible at Spanish and Chinese but trying to improve.

My career so far has focused on renewable energy technologies. At Tesla Energy and SPAN.IO I worked across a suite of residential and industrial energy products including Powerwall 3, Megapack 2XL, and the SPAN Panel Gen 1. Now I lead systems engineering at Pila Energy, where we're building residential mesh batteries for solar integration & resilience. I received B.S. '20, M.S. '23 degrees in electrical engineering from Stanford University.
